Social Media Posts

A visual glimpse into our latest updates and community moments—explore highlights from our recent social media posts.

Really enjoyed being a guest speaker at “Navigating Ireland’s Startup & SME Support Landscape” last Thursday at Republic of Work. I was joined by Gillian Butler & Dan Murphy on the panel.

I shared the journey of building Everywhere English and how we’ve actually used the Irish support ecosystem from day one to where we are now - and we have sure used it!!!!

From the Local Enterprise Office South Cork to Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers programme at the Rubicon Centre (with Aoife McInerney), which genuinely changed the trajectory of the business. It allowed us to get the time, support, and a network to go all-in on the business.

I mentioned that stacking supports is key! From feasibility grants to progressing with Enterprise Ireland, working with AxisBIC and securing funding to build out our product.

We’ve received close to €400,000 in funding across the different systems in Cork... which is kind of mad when you think about it.

👉 My key takeaways from the day

• The ecosystem in Cork really works if you engage with it properly. I always say and will continue to preach that Cork is a fantastic place to start a business.

• Leverage relationships with the local ecosystem early and consistently. Build them early, stay in touch and update them on your progress!

A big thanks to Frank Brennan and Lavanya Bhandari & the entire team at Republic of Work for hosting and to everyone who attended and shared their own journeys.

The ecosystem is here. The supports are real. And people genuinely want founders and businesses to succeed.

How lucky are we?🔴⚪️
